The fit describes how closely a garment fits the body. Skinfit distinguishes three cuts: athletic fit is close-fitting and designed for high speeds, regular fit allows a little more room, and loose fit is intentionally loose. The cut is not a matter of style, but rather a function – a baselayer only works in direct contact with the skin, while an outer layer needs space for the layers underneath.

The packed size indicates how much space the item takes up when packed – measured in its compressed state and given in milliliters. 250 ml is roughly equivalent to a small water bottle. This value helps you with the decision you make before every trip: whether to take a layer with you even if you don't expect to need it.

The stated weight is for a single unisex item in size M, women's items in size XS – smaller sizes weigh less, larger sizes correspondingly more. Weight is always a trade-off: lightweight materials save grams on your body and in your backpack, while more robust fabrics are more durable. The longer you're out and the more you're carrying, the more every gram counts.

KlimaProâ„¢ is one of the first functional materials developed by Skinfit and is still manufactured in Vorarlberg today. A special knit structure forms the basis for its exceptional climate and moisture management.

Polypropylene absorbs very little moisture and offers bacteria little surface area to adhere to. As a result, the material remains odor-neutral even with intensive use. For particularly hygienic cleaning, the top can be washed at up to 95°C.

The functional material retains its shape even after frequent wear and washing.

The special knit structure quickly distributes moisture over a large surface area. This creates a cooling evaporative effect during high-intensity activity. At lower intensities, fine air pockets trap body heat and provide insulation.

The distinctive arc represents Skinfit's unmistakable style. Reduced to the essentials, clear in function, and designed for what really matters outdoors.
