What you should know about the PCH effect: Our photochromic PCH lenses react to UV light and automatically adjust their tint to sunlight. To activate this reaction, they should be placed in the sun or worn for several hours a few times after purchase. Please note that the effect will not occur behind car windows, as these usually filter out UV rays themselves. The tint may also decrease over time – depending on sun exposure and use – after approximately 2 to 5 years. To maintain the PCH effect of the lenses for as long as possible, we recommend gentle cleaning with mild detergents and microfiber cloths, as well as storage in dark and cool places.
