The fabric that has redefined functional underwear. We developed KLIMA Pro for intense athletic activities, and it is worn directly against the skin.
The hydrophobic hollow fiber absorbs almost no moisture. Instead of trapping sweat in the fabric, it quickly transports it away from the skin. As a result, the material remains light, dries exceptionally fast, and supports a balanced body climate.
Why this works
KLIMA Pro does not absorb sweat into the fiber like an absorbent material. The hydrophobic polypropylene fibers transport moisture away from the skin via the fabric structure to the outside.
There, the moisture spreads out and can evaporate more quickly over a larger surface area. The resulting evaporative cooling supports the body's natural cooling process.
At the same time, the hollow fibers trap air. This acts as a natural insulation layer and reduces heat loss in cooler conditions. As a result, KLIMA Pro can help regulate body temperature in both warm and cold conditions.
Because polypropylene itself hardly absorbs any moisture, the material remains particularly lightweight and dries quickly, even during long or intense sessions.

KLIMA Soft
Especially soft, versatile, and pleasant on the skin: KLIMA Soft combines reliable climate management with high wearing comfort.
The material consists of two polyamide yarns knitted together. Meryl® Nexten hollow fibers form the outside, while Meryl® Skinlife microfibers with embedded silver ions lie directly against the skin. Together, they support moisture transport, thermoregulation, and an odor-inhibiting effect.
Silver ions instead of a washing machine
Unpleasant odors are not caused by sweat alone, but primarily by bacteria that multiply in damp fabric.
With KLIMA Soft, silver ions are permanently embedded inside the Meryl® Skinlife fibers. They inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria in the material, thereby supporting a fresher feeling for longer.
Because the silver ions are a component of the fiber and not just applied to the surface, their effect remains intact even after frequent washing. As a result, the material does not necessarily need to be washed after every short workout, depending on usage. Airing it out can be sufficient in many cases.
The silver ions do not completely replace the need for care. However, they can help reduce wash cycles and allow the clothing to be worn comfortably for longer.
