Data protection is very important to us. We therefore take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We would like to explain to you below what data we collect, process and use, when and for what purpose. We would also like to show you what rights you are entitled to in this context.
1. Responsibility for the processing of your personal data
Skinfit International GmbH is responsible for compliance with the statutory provisions on data protection.
2. Personal data
Personal data is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your real name, your address, your telephone number and your date of birth. Statistical information that cannot be directly or indirectly linked to you - such as the popularity of individual websites on our website or the number of users of a page - is not personal data.
3. Processing and use of personal data in the context of www.skinfit.eu/en_en
When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily store the connection data of the requesting computer, the websites you visit, the date, time and duration of the visit, your IP address, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used, the website from which you visit us and certain cookies (see also below) for the purpose of system security. This data is deleted or anonymised after the end of the connection.
In order to customise the www.skinfit.eu/en_en website according to your wishes and requirements, we, like many other websites, use so-called cookies (see section 7. "Cookies").
All the information that you yourself provide by registering on our website, filling in contact or order forms, etc., such as your name, title, gender, address, telephone number, e-mail address, password, date of birth, type of purchase, shopping baskets and the number of your registrations are processed by us in the context of processing registration or information requests and orders, etc.
The use of some functions of www.skinfit.eu/en_en, which are contained in the shopping basket, requires the creation of a user account and thus registration by the user, which consists of the following mandatory personal data: first and last name, gender (so that we can address you correctly), e-mail address, password and the billing and delivery address. The functionality of the www.skinfit.eu/en_en website may be restricted if you choose not to provide further, voluntary personal data.
Personal data (e-mail address, name, address and any other data required for the promotion) may also be collected and stored for the purposes of prize draws, competitions and similar promotions. The provision of personal data is expressly voluntary. We will delete the data immediately if it’s no longer necessary to store it.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the purposes mentioned in sections 4 and 5 is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit a, b and f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
4. Purposes of data processing
Skinfit will only process and use the personal data for the fulfilment of contracts concluded with you or insofar as the processing and use is covered by your consent. The submission of a declaration of consent for the use of your data by us is voluntary and can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. Revocation can be made, for example, by e-mail ([email protected]) or by post to Skinfit at the address given in Section 10.
Information that we receive from you helps us to personalise and continuously improve your visits to www.skinfit.eu/en_en by recommending offers and making searches easier. We also use your personal data to communicate with you, to update our records, to maintain and update your customer account with us and to display content and recommend products or services that may be of interest to you. Skinfit also processes your data for the purpose of compiling usage statistics and, in the event of attacks on our website, to recognise, prevent and investigate attacks.
5. Data processing and utilisation for the purposes of advertising and market research

Within the scope of your separately declared consent, Skinfit will send you newsletters and store information about your profile as follows and use it for advertising and market research purposes:
If you open our e-mails, click on links contained in them or submit a website form after clicking on a link, we record this and store this information in your profile.
When you open our e-mails or click on the links they contain, we recognise this and save which topics are of interest to you. If you use our recommend functions to recommend information from us by e-mail or to social networks, we record this and may store in your profile the networks to which the information was recommended and the use of the recommendation by third parties. Personal data of third parties is never stored without their consent.
When you retrieve images in e-mails or click on links, we determine the type of end device used and save this in your profile. If you access our website via a link from a message from us, we integrate information about your website visit into your profile. This also includes the integration of your purchase history into your profile.

Some of the recipients mentioned above are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in your country. For example, we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC or 2004/915/EC). These are available on request at [email protected].
Skinfit may use contracted service providers to process your data in accordance with your instructions, including for sending e-mails, maintaining and analysing databases and providing services as part of www.skinfit.eu/en_en. These service providers will only have access to your personal data to the extent and for the period of time required to provide the services or to the extent to which you have consented to the processing and use of your data. The service providers may not use your personal data for other purposes.
In addition, they are subject to the same obligations as we are to treat the information in accordance with this privacy policy and the data protection laws of the European Union.
7. Cookies and Google Analytics
"Cookies" are small files that enable us to store specific information relating to you, the user, on your PC while you are visiting one of our websites. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website and to make our services as convenient and efficient as possible for you. They do not interfere with your computer's operating system.
Most of the cookies used are "session cookies". They are automatically deleted when you leave our website. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain on your computer until you delete them manually in your browser. Skinfit uses such persistent cookies to recognise you the next time you visit the website.
The Skinfit website and webshop also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (Google), which also uses cookies to analyse the use of the website and webshop, compile reports on website activity for website operators and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP addresses determined by cookies are anonymised and transmitted to a Google server in the USA and to third parties who process the data for Google.

9. Your rights in connection with personal data
Skinfit will be happy to provide you with information on request as to whether and what data Skinfit stores about you and how it is used. You can also receive a copy of the stored data and request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law. In this regard, you can write to Skinfit at the address stated in section 10 or contact us in any other way. You can also use the Internet to view the data Skinfit has stored about you in your account and correct it if necessary. You also have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing under certain circumstances or to revoke the previously given consent, to request data portability and to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transmitted. It is also possible to request the blocking and deletion of your personal data stored by Skinfit.
